YungSavage QTN (INVASION)
Royal Kasi Stories: YungSavage QTN Opens Up About His New Album “INVASION ”
We sat down with YungSavage QTN (Siyamkela Kemka) in Queenstown shortly after his album dropped. No filter, no PR script — just raw, honest conversation. Here’s what he shared:
1. Why drop a full album now?
We asked what pushed him to release a whole project instead of singles.
YungSavage: “I had so much music I didn’t wanna lose. I felt like the world needed to hear all of this. So let’s make it possible before anything else. We don’t know what’s gonna happen tomorrow.”
2. What’s the story behind the album?
Listeners from QTN will connect with it immediately.
YungSavage: “If you listen clearly, most songs got that Christianity vibe. Always putting uThixo wethu esemazulwini first. Talking about things we must be careful of… but through it all the message is simple: beka ithemba. Believe kuNkulunkulu.”
The project blends street reality with faith — pain and prayer in the same breath.
3. What inspired the album?
No big Hollywood story — just real life.
YungSavage: “Nothing inspirational really. Just life events, and mostly ukhula that inspired everything. Music is in me, so I had to deliver something unexpected for the fans, family and friends. Most important — my supporters 🙏”
4. Who is Siyamkela before YungSavage QTN?
YungSavage: “Government name is Siyamkela Kemka. YungSavageQTN is just a young ruthless guy from QTN who grew up with nothing. Music was part of me since I was young. I started off inspired by Cape Town guys like Rattex, Backyard, Teycee. Then I changed. Immortal Technique type, then Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, Future vibe… I just got bored. I said f#ck it, let me do me.”
That mindset is exactly what the album delivers — 100% authentic.
5. Where to stream & what’s next?
YungSavage: “For now it’s on YouTube. I wanna see who’s with us, who’s not. Check the views, then we know what to expect next. We’re going straight to the top by end of June. Catch the project on every free site available.”
He closed with powerful words:
“As we elevate to the top, may God be with us. There’s so much more coming. We just want the power and ability to do more, produce more, invent more. That’s what we about.”
